The Beeld & Geluid AV museum in Hilversum has turned to Philips Tableaux ePaper displays to improve sustainability and reduce paper waste. Installed throughout the museum, the displays replace printed exhibition signage with reusable screens that consume very little power, enabling content to be updated remotely. Philips Tableaux were chosen for their image quality and ability to integrate into the museum’s Wi-Fi, allowing staff to push new exhibit information instantly. The museum’s head of business, Hylke Thiry, said the initiative supports the museum’s mission to be a sustainable attraction, while Philips professional display marketing manager Ron Cottaar emphasized the displays’ environmental and operational benefitshttps://www.usitt.org/news/world-famous-beeld-geluid-av-museum-puts-sustainability-show-philips-tableaux-epaper-displays#:~:text=PPDS%2C%20the%20exclusive%20global%20provider,new%20era%20of%20sustainable%20technologyhttps://www.usitt.org/news/world-famous-beeld-geluid-av-museum-puts-sustainability-show-philips-tableaux-epaper-displays#:~:text=With%20no%20cables%20required%2C%20the,swap%20out%20content%20when%20required.
