Tanglewood Unveils d&b audiotechnik CCL Loudspeaker Installation, Redefining The Season’s Symphonic Sound

The Boston Symphony Orchestra’s summer home at Tanglewood installed a d&b audiotechnik CCL (Cardioid Column Loudspeaker) system to improve orchestral sound and reduce stage noise. Firehouse Productions deployed KSL8, SL‑SUB, XSL8 and 44S speakers in a cardioid configuration behind a wooden stage shell to provide even coverage while keeping sound off the stage. The BSO noted that the CCL system enhances dynamics and clarity, setting a new benchmark for amplified symphonic concertshttps://www.usitt.org/news/tanglewood-unveils-db-audiotechnik-ccl-loudspeaker-installation-redefining-seasons-symphonic#:~:text=With%20Tanglewood%20as%20its%20summer,audio%20reinforcement%20for%20symphonic%20performances.
