The 68th GRAMMY Awards Stage Design From Yellow Studio

LONDON – The GRAMMY Awards® have unveiled the stage design for 2026, as the ceremony returns to Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, 01 Feb, celebrating the past year’s very best in music. Designed by Yellow Studio, the stage marks the New York design studio’s fifth consecutive year working with The Recording Academy.

For the prestigious award ceremony, Yellow Studio has reimagined the iconic gramophone as a 20-foot-tall, mirrored centerpiece. Serving as the evening's focal point, the sculptural installation frames the night’s winners and stands as an enduring symbol of artistic excellence.

The 2026 design transforms the seating area into a warm, cinematic environment that blurs the line between set design and hospitality. This cafe-style interpretation invites hosts, artists and presenters to move fluidly through the space, creating moments of intimacy throughout the room.

At the core of the design is a terracotta palette composed of multiple hues ranging from soft clay and sun-warmed blush to deeper rust and burnt sienna. Custom-printed carpet and seating mirror the terracotta tones, blending seamlessly into the space, while subtle gold accents serve as a symbolic and visual link to the iconic GRAMMY gramophone.

A defining architectural feature of the design is the use of illuminated fluted glass, which introduces translucency and rhythm, diffusing light to create a soft, glowing effect throughout the interior.

Yellow Studio also led the creative direction for the show’s screen content, extending the terracotta palette into a cohesive visual story that unfolds throughout the ceremony. Four house looks were developed within the same color spectrum in collaboration with Hello Charlie.

Founded in 2006, Yellow Studio has become a globally recognized design powerhouse, specializing in production design, creative direction, and art direction for television and live events. Over the past two decades, its team of visionary creatives has shaped some of the world’s most iconic televised and musical moments, including the 2025 BAFTA Awards, the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, the 2021 MTV VMA Awards, and Shakira’s Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.

THE 68TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS will be produced by Fulwell Entertainment for the Recording Academy® for the sixth consecutive year. Ben Winston, Raj Kapoor, Jesse Collins, and Trevor Noah are executive producers. Hosted by Trevor Noah, “Music’s Biggest Night®” will be broadcast LIVE from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Sunday, Feb. 1 (8:00-11:30 PM, live ET/5:00-8:30 PM, live PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
